The Love Interest

The Love Interest is the character whose romantic (or at least flirtatious) connection to the protagonist adds emotional stakes to the story. Sometimes they survive together, sometimes they die tragically, and sometimes they turn out to be the villain.

The Love Interest's darkened indigo base conceals red to orange to gold microflakes like secrets buried beneath charm, while a fuchsia to copper to gold magnetic pull catches the light—and your trust. But look closer: the black holographic microsparks shimmer with danger, casting doubt—because in this story, The Love Interest could be the killer... or the next to die.
